(Photo : CBS/Criminal Minds) The BAU looks into taxi and ride-share drivers in Boston when bodies are discovered in public places in season 11, episode 12 of CBS’ “Criminal Minds.” Watch the trailer below.
“Criminal Minds” premiered an exciting episode last week. Spencer Reid played a deadly game with Cat Adams (Aubrey Plaza) who was a member of the Dirty Dozen. Unfortunately, we also learnt in the same episode that Reid will most likely contract Alzheimer’s in old age. This is because his mother’s dementia was caused due to Alzheimer’s.
After the action-packed season 11 midseason premiere last week, the BAU (behavioral analysis unit) is back to solving its regular cases. This week on “Criminal Minds,” the team will be tackling an unsub who is either a taxi or ride-share driver.
Take a look at the trailer for season 11, episode 12, suitably titled “Drive,” below:
According to the episode’s synopsis on the CBS website, the BAU will travel to Boston where a mysterious case is waiting to be solved by them. The case involves authorities discovering bodies of several people in public places in Boston.
Since the killer is tossing its victims in public places, it seems like he or she is a taxi driver. The BAU decides to track down taxi or ride-share drivers in order to find the unsub.
Reid, Hotch, Morgan, Rossi and the rest of the team start digging into the victims’ lives to find out which taxi or ride-share driver drove them to their destination before their deaths. This will enable the FBI to narrow down their list of suspects.
The trailer above makes it clear that the driver/murderer’s victims are beheaded prior to their deaths. Rossi says that the backseat of a taxi is like a confessional. Rossi’s theory is correct since the killer tells its victims before decapitating them that they must be punished for their sins.
Watch “Criminal Minds” season 11, episode 12 this Wednesday, Jan. 20, at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
