‘Criminal Minds’ Season 11: BAU To Move To Boston, Danny Glover To Join As Derek Morgan’s Dad

After returning from the hiatus, “Criminal Minds” season 11 solved one story in its midseason premiere. However, as the series needs to move ahead, there is no pause in action by the criminals that enthuses the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) to investigate a series of killings in the Boston area.

According to Ecumenical News (via Cartermatt), the synopsis for the upcoming “Criminal Minds” Season 11 Episode 12 hints at something horrible taking place when corpses are discovered in the public places throughout Boston. There is a new challenge for the BAU members to find out whether or not the victims used a taxi or ride-share service and if their deaths could lead the team to the UnSub.

The new episode of “Criminal Minds” season 11 is directed by Tawnia McKieman, and written by Karen Maser. It is set to air on Wednesday, Jan. 20.  Some reports claim that the further next episode 13 titled “The Bond” revolves around the BAU heading to South with an objective to track a killer, reports Master Herald.

The website further elaborates that the victims have been left at truck shop restrooms along highways all across the South. The BAU team members are on a mission to track the killer and their future motives.

It is also said that “Muhammad Ali’s Greatest Fight” actor, Danny Glover will join “Criminal Minds” season 11 to play a key role in the series. The 69-year old actor will reportedly be seen as a father of Derek Morgan. His sudden appearance will surprise the fans as Derek’s dad was earlier established as dead.

“The episode is titled “Derek” and strongly suggests that it will revolve around the BAU’s Supervisory Special Agent,” the website reported.
