The next episode of the “Criminal Minds” is titled “Mirror Image”. In this episode, a man confronts Dr. Tara Lewis (Aisha Tyler) and claims to be her brother named Gabriel. Is this man so convincing that Tara falls into what might be a trap and will believe him right away?
According to Ecumenical News, while she is unconvinced with this man’s claim, she is also impressed at how well he pulls off to pretend to be Gabriel. The BAU team starts to open an investigation and to everyone’s surprise, this man knows a lot about Tara and her family. Dr. Lewis even brought her dad to talk to the man in person.
Meanwhile, the same source reported that Thomas Gibson’s exit from the series as Aaron Hotchner was set out in the sixth episode titled “Elliot’s Pond”. This was when Rossi made an announcement to the BAU team about Hotch entering Witness Protection.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the “Criminal Minds” actor told the press that his reason to leave the series is because of some internal conflicts with writer-producer Virgil Williams that led to physical altercations.
The next episodes of the series will now focus on Dr. Lewis and her past. More will be revealed about her and Gabriel during their childhood years, International Business Times reported.
In the promo clip of this upcoming episode, the mysterious man described earlier is confirmed to be the kidnapper of her brother and the trailer ends revealing a laughing mind-controlling serial killer. This is a sign that this episode might also show the return of Mr. Scratch (Bodhi Elfman).
This episode is directed by Joe Mantegna who portrays David Rossi, a BAU member in this series. Fans will have to wait for more than a week as the Season 12 episode 7 of “Criminal Minds” will air on Nov. 30 at 9 p.m. on CBS.
