Webster native set for 'Criminal Minds' role – Worcester Telegram

In Wednesday’s episode of “Criminal Minds,” Sal Neslusan plays a character who may regret a decision.

Chloe Andrews (Neslusan) is deep in a relationship, but “doesn’t know he has a real dark secret,” Neslusan said.

But Neslusan, who is originally from Webster, isn’t harboring second thoughts about venturing out to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. “It’s been really great,” she said.

She auditioned for the guest role of Chloe Andrews in a “Criminal Minds” episode titled “The Bond” that airs on CBS at 9 p.m Jan. 27.

Neslusan was a voice student at Pakachoag Music School of Greater Worcester for several years, studying with Silvia Irving, and graduated from the Bancroft School in Worcester and Syracuse University where she received a BFA in drama.

Then she ventured out to Los Angeles. “It definitely took me a couple of years to find my space and jump in, but I feel like I’m making my own way,” she said.

Neslusan is producer, co-writer and co-star of the comedy series “Roomiess” in which she and Edward Kiniry-Ostro play best friends and roommates. The series can be seen on YouTube. She has also acted in several independent films and the TV soap “The Bold and the Beautiful,” and can currently be seen in a Petco commercial in which she has a cat perched on her head.
